Have you been to the Museum of Ice Cream in LA? Omg! If you haven’t I suggest you do. But let me tell you, tickets are in such high demand, they are sold out for the season. 🙁 If you are lucky enough to score some, you know it was money well spent!
Unlike any other museum I have been into, they actually feed you with real ice cream and chocolates, and yes there are gummy bears too! It is such a happy place where everything is pink, even the staff 😉 And of course lots of instagram-worthy pictures are made here. And I kid you not, I feel like I just died and went into a very girly and sweet heaven. I think this place is probably the best place to take photos for instagram, no corner, nook and cranny is left out.
Husbands and guys be forewarned though, the place is literally bubble gum pink all over, well for the most part. So it’s really great for little kids, and girls (and guys) who are not afraid to embrace their inner child and be playful and free.
The place is somewhat a maze where you can only go forward the next room, and not go back if you feel like it, so take all your selfies and ice cream with you and hop on as there are actually a ton of people right behind you, unless you picked the 9pm time slot like what hubby and I did (but there were still a lot of people). Some rooms have ice cream or candy for everyone, some don’t.
How cute is my beanie for this event? I knew it would perfectly match the color scheme! Get my beanie here.
My sweater is from Anthropologie, get similar ones here and here. I had these leggings forever, they are my absolute favorite from Topshop, such a classic! You can get it here, and another pair here. Boots are from Aerosoles. Find similar ones here and here.
Word to the wise: sign up on their online newsletter if you want tickets for next season (they are sold out for this year). Kids will enjoy it, adults will have a blast, but it can get crowded so come early. And oh, be ready to take soo many selfies and do some crazy dance moves for candy. 😉
