Sweater Dress

 

It’s almost Christmas! Can you feel it in the air?  I don’t know why but the color red has always been the star of the holidays, while I do agree it is such a pretty color, green is equally as beautiful. It is such a classic, I think it’s flattering on everyone, complements all skin tones and it won’t clash with anyone’s hair color! (Unless you’re sporting green hair this season!)

 

 

I got this super casual and warm sweater dress last Black Friday. (woot woot!) It is definitely a score as I got for half off and is one of the stuff I trully adore. This is in the size Small, XS was unfortunately out. I was a bit hesitant because the reviews said it runs large, and it does, although the neck area could get a little tight if you order a smaller size. This fit perfect on my petite 5’4 frame, I feel like if I got the XS it might be a little shorter and the neck might be a little tighter on me. 🙂

I initially wore this wearing black tights but I changed my mind as the look was so much better with a just casual,  and more laidback feel. I can totally see myself wearing this on a night out going to a themepark, Christmas parties or even just lounging at home, or at a friend’s place. It beats wearing a Snuggie that’s for sure!

 

 

 

I also tried wearing a pair olive green leggings with this dress and it worked pretty good, that might be an option for cooler nights. The oversized side ties are so cute and makes for some girly detail. Get this dress (also comes in gray) and my booties below.
