How To: Easy Glam New Year’s Eve

 

 

I swear 2018 flew by so fast thinking about it makes my head spin! But the day has finally come my friends, it’s time to say good bye. Not without a bang though, as the year comes to an end, comes a brighter and hopefully bigger new year. And while New Year’s celebrations is not as big as Christmas or Thanksgiving, we folks still come out and definitely show up to the party!

As for me, I have loads to thank for this year, blessings and amazing people who helped me become a better person, great trips and friends both old and new who definitely made my year a blast. ☺️There were definitely highs and lows to my 2018 just as there is no perfect person or a ‘perfect life.’ How was your 2018? Was is totally amazing or meh?

But yep, this time I’m saying hello to 2019 with a bang and lots of sparkles. Sequins and glitter always make my heart skip a beat! 😉How do you achieve an easy tried and tested glam chic this New Year? Read on to find out!

The easiest no-brainer outfit for New Year’s Eve is hands down—anything with lots of sequins, glitter and sparkles. Nothing says you are slayin’ like a disco ball than when you look like THE disco ball. 😂Lol. But seriously find anything that shines and you can totally rock it girl.

And who says you can’t mix prints or sequins on sequins?! Girrlll you totally can. There are no rules. Just own it.

If you want a more subtle approach, some sparkly accents are always a safe bet, like a cute studded skirt, some colorful pants or a sequin top. And you can always wear them after New Year’s too like during special events or a night out in Vegas so don’t think you can’t wear that outfit again!😉

This dress and jacket combo is under $50 and I paired it with some black tights and black over the knee boots I already own. And partaayy always means glam so who says you can’t amp it up by wearing a bold red lip. I’m so obsessed with this lippie from Stila Cosmetics it’s the best red to wear during the holidays!

If you decide on the glitter on glitter or sequins and sequins combo, I would go low key on my accessories and shoes, go for a darker shade and of course black is always a classic and goes with everything. If it’s too cold outside, I would wear a thicker parka or coat over to stay warm maybe even a beanie. 😉
