I hit a milestone in my life a few weeks ago– I turned 40. I always thought that is such an end to your youth, things you enjoy and it is just a downhill battle to your grave, as society has painted picture of that stereotype in the past. In this era of anti-aging, people living longer to their 100’s (I’m not sure I’ll get there) and just embracing your authentic self, whatever age you may be I’m so glad to be living in this time where age is really just a number, you can do whatever your heart desires. ๐ And the coolest thing about it–is a community of like-minded individuals who are just living their best life, not perfect lives, just taking it one day at a time, just pick any social media platform and you’ll find people with the same interests and woes.

I’ve been loving this faux leather puffer jacket below, it’s from last year’s but is warm and very stylish. It matches well with most of my outfits ๐ Perfect for travel too!
The rains have been pretty bad this past few days here in SoCal so staying indoors and keeping warm is a must, despite of that, I’ve been proud of myself of going to the gym consistently and this half-zip sweater below has been my go-to over gym attire. I also love this during road trips as it’s super comfy. Wearing a XXS.
Below is my also another winter gym/errand outfit go-to. I love this for windy days and I don’t have to think about it. This flannel is a few years old, it’s super warm. This mock neck sweater is a staple in my closet, I have several colors, it works well in between seasons and I love this for travel too! ๐ค Of course my fave gym/travel bag is this quilted tote, it’s super easy to use and holds soo much!๐
The faux leather skirt and red fuzzy sweater look is one I wore for my Birthday a few weeks ago and almost on repeat too! I love the versatility of this outfit, you can almost pair this with anything!๐ค The top is great for the holidays and seasons where the crisp air still trumps the sweltering heat.
Speaking of fuzzies, below is a neutral one I love been wearing it alot since last fall. I recently wore it on top of a polka dot dress (sold out) linked similar skirts below.
The Spring dresses here I wore for my Birthday, I love the burgudy halter dress above, it’s flattering with it’s silhouette and it comes in 2 othe colors, I got a black one as well. The petal dress below is super pretty and perfect for weddings and events. ๐ The petals are so striking and are a nice touch! Both of this dresses are under 100 and are on Sale! ๐
This corset top and skirt combo I wore for Valentine’s day, and is so perfect for Spring! The skirt is on sale, wearing an XS, it’s sheer polka dot detail makes it elegant and the mini underneath makes it sexy!โค๏ธ This corset I love and comes in 3 colors. Also wearing an XS. I’m not a super fan of corsets but this has a stretch to it and makes it breathable and easy to wear. Would also look great in jeans!๐
Overall I must say starting this year particularly turning a year older made me realize that it’s so cheesy but true. Self-acceptance is something that I have embraced as a gift to myself and it definitely keeps on giving! ๐ The minor imperfections that may be present on our bodies or faces are nothing compared to wealth of knowledge and freedom that one can achieve getting older. Hey I may not be perfect but I choose to accept myself for who I am. โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
