Classic Winter Style: The Sweater Dress

 

When I think about winter, I think about classic styles, the holidays, cozy knits, warm cocoa- don’t get me started! 😩This weather gives me such amazing fuzzy feels all of them dreamy and whimsical. There’s just something about the cold weather (and the snow) that makes everything look beautiful and this season really does feel magical! 🙌🏻

Now I know some of you are probably tired of this too cold-get-me-out-of-the-house weather but unfortunately we have a few more months to savor (or suffer 😭)it. So I’m unleashing my semi-snow bunny mode today in this post as I show you a classic winter outfit, well it has been adapted modernly but I say classic because it has been a staple for a few years now including your Mom’s closet. I’m talking about the Sweater Dress.

A sweater dress to me is a no-brainer easy-peasy one and done outfit that is stylish and yet comfortable. Perfect for that post-holiday food baby 😉What I like about it is that it keeps you warm too so it’s so easy to style it up with a pair of boots, some tights and cute winter accessories.

This one I am wearing is such a steal, it’s under $40 and I love it’s distressed details. Totally makes it modern and a bit edgy at the same time. Don’t get me wrong, the sweater material still kept me cozy even with those tiny holes but if you are worried about that, just layer it with a cami top underneath for extreme cold like where I am here in full blown 30 degree snow weather! 🤗❄️

I added a french girl look to this outfit by wearing a red beret and this totally makes a pop with the nude dress, and I paired the look with a red lip pencil. I feel like a bit more color in the snow makes a girl look more lively! 😍💋
