I don’t know about you but I’m still on a high from all the fourth of July festivities! I guess I can say it’s one of my favorite holidays ever! π That being said, it’s back to reality and the heat has come down baby! I mean it has been really nice around here in Orange County to actually go to the beach with warm weather. π I’ll always be a dress lover and this time around I am loving the little white dress.
Sure the little black dress will always be a classic but I think during the summer, wearing light colors, in particular,Β white is just so chic and classy in my opinion not to mention it’s so cool and comfortable too!

I usually like to have less accessories in the summer, I jazz up my little white dress with a wide-brimmed hat, some aviators and neutral colored wedges. A wicker/straw bag would complete this look. I think this is just so easy and effortless, you can be out the door in a jiffy!
If its cooler, I usually bring a denim jacket, as it goes with everything and is not too warm, it’s also great for travel, if you like wearing a dress on long plane/car rides. Another option is a vest, maybe with some fun details/print like fringe or pretty flowers.
These wedges are super comfy, and they are so lightweight! I am obsessed with Dolce Vita and love their shoes! You can definitely run in these! π
My husband usually takes my photos (Credit to him! Haha! Though he still doesn’t want to show his pretty face here!) and we shot this in one of my favorite parks in California which is Joshua Tree National Park. This was shot in the Cholla Gardens area, which is full of amazing cacti, some may even be bigger than you! There are light and dark colored ones and it’s just so beautiful!
If you haven’t been to Joshua tree park, I suggest you take a day trip there asap! For my international friends planning a trip to SoCal, make this a part of your itinerary. I swear it has the best lighting perfect for all your social media needs! Be ready as it can be sweltering in the summer! And oh there are bees (lots of them) in the parking lot, so be prepared. Wear white when you go, you’ll look stunning in your photos! π
